Myers-Briggs Type Indicatorsimplified asMBTIis a personality type assessment tool developed from Carl Jung's type theory, which shows that people are born with different psychological preferences in the way they perceive and make decisions. The most obvious part of his theory is that there are four opposing sets of innate preferences: introversion and extroversion (Introversion-Extraversion), Reality and intuition (Sensing-iNtuition), Thinking and feeling (Thinking-Feeling), Judging and perceiving(Judging-Perceiving). Four groups of preferences can form 16 stable personality types. This indicator is designed to allow healthy individuals to understand their own and each other's cognitive and decision-making tendencies and does not reflect ability, character, specific behaviors, and mental health status.
